Analytics

To improve the service, WorkedOn records page views, search outcomes, result/WO/listen clicks, MusicBrainz entity IDs, country code, a coarse traffic-source category and the landing path without query parameters. Successful raw search terms are not stored. Zero-result terms resembling email addresses, phone numbers or URLs are removed or masked.

Data not stored

WorkedOn's analytics database does not store IP addresses, names, email addresses, advertising IDs, precise location, full User-Agent strings, browser fingerprints or persistent user IDs. The navigation flow ID exists only in browser memory and resets on reload.

Retention

Zero-result terms are removed after about 30 days and ordinary raw events after about 90 days; only daily and monthly aggregates remain. Feedback is retained as needed for review and correction history.

Feedback and cookies

Correction feedback is anonymous and stores the message, page/entity context and an optional reference URL. Full IP and User-Agent values are not stored. A short-lived one-way hash is used for spam prevention. No cookie is used to track ordinary visitors over time; an internal-test exclusion cookie is set only during operational testing.
